Pronouns, Present tense, Direct Object

This post on Tamil Pronouns, Present Tense and Direct Objects is based on information in Lessons 2-3 from "Learn Thamil Through English" on the Duke University page.

**Lesson 2**
1. English to Tamil
a. It looks down.
அது கீழஎ பார்க்கிறது.
b.He looks here.
அவன் இங்கே பார்க்கிறான்.
c. She looks up.
அவள் மேலே பார்க்கிறாள்.
d. It looks inside.
அது உள்ளே பார்க்கிறது.
e. I look there.
நான் அங்கே பார்க்கிறேன்.
f. You look outside.
நீ வெளியே பார்க்கிறாய்.

2. Tamil to English
a. அவள் உள்ளே பார்க்கிறாள்.
She looks inside.
b. நான் கீழே பார்க்கிறேன்.
I look down.
c.அது மேலே பார்க்கிறது.
It looks up.
d.நீ அங்கே பார்க்கிறாய்.
You look there.
e. அவன் வெளியே பார்க்கிறான்.
He looks outside.

**Lesson 3**
1. Tamil to English
a.நான் உன்னைப் பார்க்கிறேன்.
I see you.
b.அவன் பந்தை உள்ளே எறிகிறான்.
He throws the ball inside.
c. அது என்னைத் தொடுகிறது.
It touches me.
d. பந்தை இங்கே ஏறி!
Throw the ball here.
e. நீ உணவைத் தொடுகிறாய்.
You touch the food.

2. English to Tamil.
a. She sees the food inside.
அவள் உணவை உள்ளே பார்க்கிறாள்.
b. Come outside! Throw the ball outside.
வெளியே வா! பந்தை வெளியே ஏறி!
c. He throws the food down!
அவன் உணவை கீழே எறிகிறான்.
d. It looks at her/it sees her.
அது அவளை பார்க்கிறது.
e. It touches him.
அது அவனை தொடுகிறது.
f. She throws it there.
அவள் அதை அங்கே எறிகிறாள்.
